Whilst writing this page I was aware of how quickly in the 'electronic age' articles giving details of recent events can become so quickly dated.

It is therefore my intention, to encourage all those who browse the website, to become and continue to be involved with the activities of the Society on a regular basis.

Ideas for events can come from the committee and branch secretaries but most importantly new ideas direct fom the members themselves are more than welcome.

As has been stated in the past this is a society for all generations of former St.Beghians both young and old,and this is one of its strengths.

Communication not just with one's school contemporaries but also with the school and the broader membership can be satisfying and enriching.

I certainly look forward to meeting and chatting to as many members as possible during my term of office.
