In addition to the international consultancy business I run with my wife and business partner, we have just opened the DaleyHub, a coworking and networking high street hub and the first is in Romsey Hampshire. With an open invite that we would love to chat with any Old St Beghian in the area, we opened our doors in September 2019.

George Robson (FN 57-64) has sent in  a photograph of former maths master,  Aston (S.T.), whom he recalls retired in 1958 and shook hands with every boy as they exited the Memorial Hall following morning assembly.

George has also sent a photo of the Reverend Geoffrey Moule, who was school Chaplain during the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s and also taught Divinity and Latin. He was a nationwide well known ornithologist, but gave up teaching to become a vicar down south.
After retirement he came back to St Bees to live in one of the cottages at the bottom of the Rottington Road and lived to a great age. He occasionally took a service in the school chapel during his retirement. His ashes lie in the Priory churchyard, with a gravestone displaying the words ‘Priest, Ornithologist, Schoolmaster.’.
