St Beghians’ Day Reunion
and
‘Live Music in the Quad’

Saturday 14th June 2025

During the afternoon there will be ‘Live Music in the Quad’, with various artists from the OSBs, school and village. These will include Vicky Davies (aka Miss Dee) (L 94-99) and Lee Shackley (Head of Music, St Bees School) performing a mix of music across the genres.
A barbeque in the Quad (£5pp) at around 4.30/5.00pm will conclude the day.
In addition, a cash bar will be available from lunch time onwards until the end of the event.

The day will commence with a Committee Meeting and AGM, including a talk by the Headmaster, followed by the Chapel Service at around mid-day, which this year will be taken by The Revd Canon Dr Andrew Todd (G 72-79).

An informal, self-service, sit-down OSB lunch in the Foundation Dining Room will be at 1pm. The cost of the 3-course lunch, including wine, will be £20 (this price will also include the barbeque for free, later on in the day).

There will also be a Fives competition, as in previous years, for anyone who would like to play – in the past it has included, OSBs, students and staff. All are welcome to participate or spectate.

A few OSBs (late 60s/early 70s) are already actively trying to encourage a group of their contemporaries to attend the day. If anyone else is interested in doing the same, we are more than happy to send out a message to a specific group of people on your behalf.
