Walter (W. K. F.) Fletcher (G 58-64) at the recent Australian Dinner held in Sydney on Thursday 13th June, 2013.
Please click here for further details about the Dinner.

Walter says "the scarf belonged to ("Uncle Jim") J. Walker (SH 1923-1926), elder brother of A.C.M. Sir Augustus Walker (SH c1925-1929) "Gus" who was my father in law. Uncle Jim gave me the scarf in about 1995 and told me his mother had made it from his worn out old cricket blazer; Jim died in 2004 aged 94. Therefore you will understand why there are a few moth holes in the scarf which are quite visible. At our select gathering in Sydney I thought it was time to give this little momento it's first outing since it was given to me!
